This uniform is used for general day to day duties and is therefore often refered to as "Working Rig". It consists of Black boots or shoes, blue trousers with zip fly, shirt and jumper with epaulettes (the area on top of the shoulders). This uniform is usually worn with berets although caps are also allowed.

This is the best uniform and is used for ceremonial occasions such as unit Royal Navy Inspections.
