Junior Sea Cadets
T.S. Rye has had a Juniors section for a number of years. This is aimed at younger cadets between the ages of 11 and 12.
Although based upon the same traditions and values of the older Sea Cadets, there are far more games and Leisure activites involved.
Juniors are able to attend weekend activities such as the Junior Activity weekend at Middlehill. They also take part in Unit activities such as Pulling and Power After 6 months service, a Junior may be rated Junior Cadet 1st Class. After a years service they can be rated Leading Junior. Once the Junior reaches 12, he or she altomaticaly bypass the New Entry section and become enrolled Cadets.
Juniors parade once a week on Friday nights between 18:50 and 21:00.
